ARiC Insulation manufactures FRP and epoxy pultruded profiles from our facility in Maharashtra, India since 1969. Our pultrusion range includes epoxy tubes, solid rods, FRP angle channels, bench patti, and ladder profiles — supplied to transformer manufacturers, electrical panel builders, and industrial OEMs across India. Epoxy grades conform to IEC 60893. Custom cross-sections and lengths available.
Pultrusion is a continuous manufacturing process for fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP) profiles. Continuous glass fibre rovings and mats are pulled through a resin bath — polyester, vinyl ester, or epoxy — and then through a heated die that shapes and cures the composite into a constant cross-section profile. The result is a structural material that combines high strength-to-weight ratio, electrical non-conductivity, corrosion resistance, and dimensional consistency.
Two resin systems are used depending on application requirements:

View DetailsPultrusion is a continuous composite manufacturing process. Glass fibre rovings and mats are pulled through a liquid resin bath (polyester, vinyl ester, or epoxy), then through a heated steel die that shapes and cures the composite into a constant cross-section profile. The process produces profiles with very consistent dimensions and high glass content — typically 60–70% by weight — resulting in high strength and stiffness.
FRP profiles typically use polyester or vinyl ester resin with glass fibre reinforcement — they are cost-effective for structural and outdoor applications but are not rated for demanding electrical insulation. Epoxy pultruded profiles use epoxy resin, giving higher dielectric strength, better thermal rating (up to 155°C), and compliance with IEC 60893 — required for transformer winding formers, HV standoffs, and electrical-grade insulation components.
Epoxy tubes are used as winding formers (also called coil formers) in dry-type transformers — the tube forms the inner bobbin around which the transformer winding is wound. They are also used as insulation sleeves and bushing tubes in both dry-type and oil-type transformer assemblies. Our epoxy tubes conform to IEC 60893.
Yes. Standard profiles are available in stock lengths. We also supply cut-to-length profiles, drilled profiles, and machined components from pultruded stock to your drawing. Contact our team with your dimensions and quantity for a quote.
Yes. Polyester FRP pultruded profiles are UV-stabilised and resistant to moisture, salt spray, and most industrial chemicals — making them well suited to outdoor platforms, walkways, cable trays, and industrial structures where steel would corrode. They are also non-conductive, which is an important safety advantage near live electrical installations.
